Attendee Information

Thank you for Registering to Attend the 41th Utility Energy Forum!

On behalf of the 2022 Utility Energy Forum Planning Committee, we would like to welcome you to this year's conference. We are excited that you will be coming. The content of this year's conference is filled with timely topics, informative presentations and interactive sessions.

At the Forum you will be able to hear from some of the industry's leading professionals, get insights into the future of energy efficiency, renewable energy, technology developments and workforce development, as well as have the chance to meet new colleagues and get reacquainted with friends who are working on the same issues that fill your day.

This is the 41th Annual Utility Energy Forum. The location and accommodations for the event provide an atmosphere of informality and interactivity. The agenda has been organized to give time to listen, learn, ask and interact during your time there. We know that you'll find the time very beneficial and we're looking forward to seeing you there.

AGENDA.  The Forum starts with lunch at 12:00 noon on Wednesday and concludes with lunch on Friday.  The latest agenda is online at http://utilityforum.org/agenda.  The Pre-Forum Workshop on Wednesday morning is open to utility and government attendees only.  No special workshop registration is necessary, but you will need to pay an additional fee if you require a sleeping room on Tuesday night.

CONFERENCE ATTIRE.  Conference attire is business casual. The temperatures are forecasted to be in the mid-60s during the day and in the low 50s at night.  But you should be prepared for any type of weather.

GUIDANCE ON USE OF FACE COVERINGS AND COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS. In order to minimize risk and to allow attendees with stricter company Covid safety protocols in place to attend the event, the Utility Energy Forum will require masks indoors at the meeting for all attendees. We also encourage attendees to avoid handshakes or physical contact. All attendees will be asked to keep the same seat within the meeting room throughout the day and not temporarily sit in another attendee's seat while visiting with other conference attendees during the breaks. This will help to prevent the spread of germs. Sanitizing wipes will be available to wipe down the podium and microphone for speakers, etc. We will also have hand sanitizer bottles at meals. The hotel will follow all local and state protocols in effect at the time of the event regarding sanitization, the arrangement of seating, etc. Lunch and dinner are held in an outdoor setting and the after-dinner networking events are held outdoors.

LOOK WHO’S COMING.  The listing at http://utilityforum.org/look-who includes those who have registered to attend.  If you know of someone who plans to attend, but is not listed here, please remind them to register online at http://utilityforum.org/registration to be sure we list them properly on their name badge and reserve their proper sleeping accommodations.

FIRST TIME ATTENDING?  Join us in the back of the conference meeting room at 12:45 pm on Wednesday for a brief orientation before the event starts at 1:00 pm.
